I love that the same people that are running around screaming that Obama is a socialist and that he is destroying the country with his health care reform are the same ones whining about not touching social security or medicare. Shows how truly ignorant we are as a country these days.

Any parent who would willfully put their kid into this situation - and leave their health and LIFE up to the roll of the dice that is a school full of 6 year olds and the thousands of products that peanuts are in, shouldn't have kids.

If your child is that severely allergic to something like peanuts, having kids wash their hands and mouths out twice a day isn't going to prevent anything. The only thing it will do is waste teaching time and, ultimately, it will stigmatize the child to the other children.

Teachers have enough to do without having to go through all of that. It is not fair to the other kids. What happens on the playground?
